Seen from above, shallow water moves through exposed sandbars in long, fluid curves—pale aqua against cream, mineral blue against sun-washed sand.

Shoal was composed specifically as an ultra-wide panoramic work, allowing the channels and shifting edges of water to travel naturally across all three panels. From across the room, it reads almost like an abstract; up close, the ripples, sand textures and changing water depths begin to emerge.

Printed as a three-panel MetalPrint, the photograph is infused directly into specially coated aluminum rather than printed onto paper and mounted afterward.
